Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
